Meet the Founder

Dr Tony Basignaa
Chief Executive Officer
Dr Tony Basignaa — CEO

“A Transformational and Servant Leader with a flair for executing projects across business and management disciplines.”

Leading the BIL Group — spanning Diagnostic Services, Sanitation, Manufacturing, and the Food Industry — Dr. Basignaa has made a measurable positive impact on individuals and society across Northern Ghana. As a servant leader, he is responsible for setting and communicating the mission, vision, and goals of each enterprise, including the long-term strategic direction of the group.

Offering a solid background in technical and business qualifications — including an MBA, three Masters degrees, and a Doctorate in Medical Laboratory Science — Dr. Basignaa combines deep academic rigour with strong communication and interpersonal skills. A family man, he enjoys reading and gardening, and the Woodland Botanical Gardens project reflects his lifelong passion for nature and community.
